    Up to three (3) entries per artist may be submitted for a non-refundable fee of:
  • 1 Entry - $5
  • 2 Entries - $10
  • 3 Entries - $15
    Cash or Check only. Make check payable to the Ayden Collard Festival.

   * Youth are not required to pay an entry fee.

Entry Fees


   The Collard Festival Art Show competition is open to all visual artists.
   All entries must be original works (not copied from other artists' work) completed within the past five years. A piece of art can only be submitted in the Ayden Art Show one time.
   The Ayden Art Show is a family oriented event; therefore, the Art Show Committee and the Town of the Ayden reserves the right to refuse any entry and to withdraw any work from the exhibit at its discretion.

The best possible care will be taken in the handling of all art work while in our possession. All art work will be
displayed indoors. The Town of Ayden, the Ayden Collard Festival Committee and all people associated with the Ayden Collard Festival Art Show will not be held responsible for damage or loss due to any cause.



  • Bring all artwork, including youth art, ready for display. No sawtooth hangers allowed.
  • Bring hanging artwork framed and secured with wire ready for hanging.
  • Any piece requiring special materials for display remain the responsibility of the artist
  • Small items (i.e. jewelry) must be encased appropriately for safe display by the artist.
  • Only hand delivered art with appropriate completed tags and entry forms will be accepted. The entry fee is due upon delivery.
  • Art for sale should be priced on the entry form. If not for sale mark NFS. Sales of all art will be between the buyer and seller.

We recommend you pre-register your art BEFORE coming to the Community Building to submit your artwork. After a quick check at the door, simply go straight to the cashier’s table, pay your entry fee, hand us your art, and pick up your receipt! That’s it! We will take care of the rest. Of course, there is no cost for children/youth to enter their artwork.

Pickup Process:

Art must be picked up and checked out at the appropriate station according to the number on each piece of art. Art show staff will be at the door to verify that entries have been processed by correct procedure. Student work will be returned to the school by the Art Show Committee.
